A good scheme for the students if availed in a good manner. Newspapers have reported that the laptop is being sold to agents for Rs.10,000/- and agents in turn sell them for Rs.12,000/-. This defeats the purpose of the Government. It is learnt that BSNL is coming out with a special broadband plan for students who have availed free laptop from the Government. Details are awaited.
