There are not more comfortable water source or
rivers present in the Chennai city
. It is necessary that people are to rely on the government metro water or the underground bores. If the

is very low then there is also no hope in believing for water from the bore. Now the perfect option for the
water in Chennai
is the government metro water. The government Lorries takes water from some of the
areas in Chennai
which have good water level underground. For the drinking water the
people of Chennai
use the mineral water that is distributed in cans.

There are many reasons for the water scarcity to occur in Chennai. Most of the reason is because the water resource is wasted to great extent by the people who do not know the value of the water. And during the summer the water becomes the most necessary part in the Chennai area. The construction of the
flats in Chennai

Deforestation a big reason for water scarcity in Chennai
Most of the
areas in Chennai
are residential and the commercial zones and there is no possibilities for the plants to grow in the Chennai area. The plants play a major role in the climatic change. The
people of Chennai
remove the plants that are present in the house in order to construct their house. In today's world there are even no trees in the streets and the empty grounds. The people of the Chennai are the worst destroyers so that they destroy the trees that are present and they construct buildings in that place. They do not understand the fact that the deforestation destroys the
water present in the ground

Though EXNORA initially took some steps to initiate growth of trees all over the city, there wasn't enough support from people.Hence deforestation could not be suppressed. But as young indians we have to take some steps to reduce deforestation eventually relieving from water scarcity problems.
